I started my career as a business analyst and decided early that I wanted to dedicate myself to becoming a world-class business analyst. Obtaining certification in business analysis was one of the first steps in my journey of coursework, training, mentorship, professional certifications, and experience in the field.
Through early project opportunities, I discovered my interest in user experience design. I studied different aspects of user experience design that would best fill the skill gaps of my teams. That led to a master’s degree in user experience design and becoming the UX lead for my team. From there, I grew into my role as the User Experience Strategist for my organization, where I was responsible for developing and implementing user experience best practices from strategy to execution and implementation.
In my journey, I discovered a passion for helping others grow and succeed. I have started and led several growth and development initiatives where I facilitated training and development in business analysis, user experience design, and agile best practices across my organization. I have even coached and trained several teams in our company’s annual fitness challenges (and won a few times).
If I had to sum myself and my career up briefly, I would say I am passionate about continuous positive growth for myself and the people around me.
