Replace and redesign the e-commerce platform from an acquisition and integrate it into the current portal ecosystem
Evaluation of all the existing pages and features to understand what functionality needed to be integrated into the new ecosystem as well as which functionalities could or should be retired.
I defined and refined the information architecture in conjunction with prototyping to ensure the new features and functionalities integrated neatly into the existing application navigation structure.
Prototyping was an integral part of ensuring features met the needs of the old system while also being scalable enough to integrate the complexities of the different and new divisions of the organization that would be integrated into the platform.
